Add from anywhere
Say it, type it, or point the camera at it.
A task can arrive as a sentence, a voice note, a photo of the soccer schedule, or three words to Siri from the car; on Pro, a forwarded email too. Whichever way, Pensova finds the time. You check what it read before it is added, except with Siri, which adds the task straight away and tells you where it landed.

The add box and its draft. Type it
“Deck for the board by Thursday, about two hours.” The sentence becomes a draft with the title, duration, deadline and priority filled in, for you to correct before it is added.
Adding tasks → The microphone in the add box. · 22 s Say it
Tap the microphone in the add box and talk. The words go through the same reader as typing, so a spoken deadline or length is understood the same way.
Adding tasks →The soccer schedule, from a photo. · 37 s Photograph it
The soccer schedule, the school calendar, the appointment card. Pensova reads it and lists every entry for you to check, then puts them on the calendar as fixed blocks.
Add from photo →Filmed on an iPhone. · 23 s Hey Siri, capture this
From the lock screen, CarPlay or a watch. Siri sends the words to your private link, Pensova adds the task and finds it a time, and Siri reads back where it landed.

Hey Siri, capture this
Three words from the lock screen, the car or a watch.
Say “Hey Siri, capture this,” wait for the tone, then say the task. “Kids’ hair appointment Saturday, forty-five minutes.” A few seconds later Siri reads back where it landed, and it is on your calendar.
It is an iPhone Shortcut you install once from Settings in Pensova, in about a minute. A fixed time works too: “karate every Saturday at ten thirty for an hour until Thanksgiving” becomes a repeating block, not a task that needs a time found. On Android, an automation app can send tasks to the same private link.
- You say
- “Kids’ hair appointment Saturday, forty-five minutes.”
- Pensova reads
- Kids’ hair appointment · 45 min · due Saturday · anytime
- Siri says
- “Kids’ hair appointment is on your calendar, Saturday 10 am to 10:45 am.”
From a photo
The season schedule, read off the fridge.
A picture or PDF of a season table, a school timetable or a week on the family calendar becomes fixed blocks on your calendar, on their day or every week, after you check what it read.
- Any schedule on paper or screen
- The swim team's season, the school timetable, the clinic rota, a screenshot of the class schedule. Take the picture in the app or choose a photo or PDF from the phone.
- One row per entry, for you to check
- Pensova lists what it found: title, day, start and end. Fix a misread, untick what you do not want, and put a name in For so the calendar reads “Billy · Practice”.
- Fixed blocks Pensova works around
- Press Add to Google Calendar and each row becomes a block, weekly or on its date. Pensova never moves them; it plans your tasks around them.
Weekends and evenings
A task you put on Saturday lands on Saturday.
Working hours keep work out of your evenings. They should not keep the dentist out of Saturday morning.
- Anytime tasks
- Switch a task to Anytime and it can be given time from 8 am to 9 pm on any day of the week, instead of inside working hours. Errands, calls to the school, the oil change.
- A weekend deadline says it for you
- Give a task a deadline on a day that is not a working day and Pensova treats it as anytime without being asked. Say it to Siri or type it, same result.
- Not before a day
- “On Saturday” means on Saturday, not the first free gap on Wednesday. A task can carry an earliest day as well as a deadline.
What to know
The same rules, whichever way in.
- A draft to check, except with Siri
- Typed, spoken and photographed tasks come back as a draft you check. A task said to Siri is added straight away, and Siri tells you where it landed.
- One allowance
- A typed sentence, a voice note, a task said to Siri and a photo or PDF of a schedule each count as one capture. Lite includes 50 a month and Pro 250; 50 more cost $5 under Plan in Settings, kept until used.
- iPhone and Android apps, in development
- Pensova runs in the phone's browser today, and Siri works through the Shortcut. Native apps for the App Store and Google Play are in development, expected December 2026.
