Priority, urgent to lowlist on the list, not the calendar
The list is what you wrote down, grouped by the day each thing will happen. The board deck is due Friday and needs seven hours, so Pensova put it in the free mornings and stopped at the end of the working day. Soccer practice and date night are on the calendar as commitments, and Pensova treats them exactly like meetings: it plans around your life, never over it. Untick “Put it on my calendar” and a task stays on the list with no time blocked.

What it handles

What Pensova does for you today.

Everything on this list works now. Anything still being built is labelled “In development” wherever it shows up on the site.

  • Keeps your to-do list and blocks time for each task around the schedule you already have. When your schedule changes, it moves your flexible tasks for you.
  • Takes a task typed, spoken into the microphone, photographed off a schedule, or said to Siri from the car.
  • Fills your free time by priority first, duration and then due date.
  • Puts a task due Saturday on Saturday, and errands anywhere from 8 am to 9 pm, any day.
  • Breaks a long task into blocks over several days, none shorter than 30 minutes.
  • Works around every calendar you subscribe to, including busy-only and holiday calendars.
  • Finds a new time for a task within about a minute when something lands on top of it.
  • Keeps your change when you move a task’s block in Google Calendar, and removes a block you delete there.
  • Gives each repeat of a repeating task its own time.
  • Tells you on the task why it couldn’t find time, instead of hiding it.
  • Keeps a task on your list with no time if you untick “Put it on my calendar”, and blocks time the moment you drag it onto a day.
  • Turns meeting notes, pasted or forwarded by email, into tasks for you to check and add (on Pro).

Add from anywhere

Say it, type it, or point the camera at it.

“Hey Siri, capture this. Kids’ hair appointment Saturday, forty-five minutes.” A few seconds later it is on the calendar, on Saturday, and Siri says so. A photo of the soccer schedule becomes every practice and game as fixed blocks. A sentence in the add box, typed or spoken, becomes a draft with the length and deadline filled in, for you to check.

  • Type it in the add box.
  • Say it into the microphone.
  • Photograph a schedule or an appointment card.
  • Say “Hey Siri, capture this” from the lock screen or the car.

What Pensova takes off your plate

Terry Ward, founder of Pensova

A note from the founder

Like most busy working professionals, my wife and I had more follow‑ups than hours, a to-do list rewritten every Sunday night, and a calendar that treated every open hour, including dinner, as fair game.

So I built Pensova. You give it the list, and it puts the work into the hours that are actually free, around the appointments, the practices and the evenings you keep. If it ever books over one of those, that’s a bug, and I want to hear about it.

Terry Ward, founder, Pensova

See it in action

Four things that happen in a week, worked through.

Priority first, then duration, then due date, into the free time.

What you can hold it to

Three rules it does not break.

  • Rules you can read

Priority first, then duration, then due date, into the earliest gap that fits. The whole order is written down in the help center, and every task shows why it got its time.

  • Your edits win

Drag one of its blocks to a better time, here or in Google Calendar or Outlook, and Pensova keeps your change. Delete one and the task shows as not on your calendar yet.

  • You check it first, except Siri

Typed, spoken and photographed tasks come back as a draft you check. A task said to Siri is added straight away, and Siri tells you where it landed.

Next to the others

  • Motion is a project and team manager with an auto-scheduling calendar at the center, priced for teams.Pensova is a to-do list that blocks time for each task, for one person, from $9 a month, and it treats your evenings and weekends as real.Pensova vs Motion →

Life first

Soccer practice, date night, Friday drinks. All of it counts.

Anything on a calendar you subscribe to is a commitment Pensova works around, whether it is a client call or the kids’ game. In the three days at the top of this page, the board deck went into the free mornings, and nothing was blocked after five. Thursday evening was never in play.

Where this is going

In development · Expected Q1 2027

Next is a home workspace: a shared family calendar with a view per person, the kids’ school and activity calendars imported, chores and errands as tasks anyone at home can own, and a family plan priced per household. None of it is built yet. It is listed so you know what you are buying into, not what you are buying.

Security and data

Four facts, each checkable. No badges we do not hold.

  • Google and Microsoft

    Calendar permissions only

Read calendars, create and change its own events. No mail, contacts or files. Revoke it any time from your Google or Microsoft account.

  • Verification

    Verified by Google and Microsoft

Google reviewed the app and both Calendar permissions in September 2026. Microsoft verified Pensova Corp. as the publisher in October 2026. Sign-in shows the ordinary permission screen, no warning.

  • Storage

    Events never copied

Pensova checks when you’re busy each time it plans, then forgets it. It keeps only a short code that shows whether your schedule changed.

  • Billing

    Card never touches us

Checkout and the billing portal are Stripe's. Pensova keeps a record of which plan you’re on and nothing about the card.

Questions

Things people ask before connecting a calendar.

Does it work on my phone?
Yes. On a phone Pensova opens on your to-do list, with the calendar a tap away; you can say a task into the microphone or photograph a schedule, and on iPhone a Shortcut lets you say “Hey Siri, capture this” from the lock screen or the car. Native apps for the App Store and Google Play are in development, expected December 2026.
What does Pensova need from Google or Microsoft?
Calendar permissions only: to read your calendars and to create and change its own events. It asks for nothing else, not mail, contacts or files. Google or Microsoft shows the full list before you approve, and you can revoke it from your account at any time.
Will it move my meetings?
No. It only ever creates, moves or deletes the events it made itself. Everything else on your calendar is treated as fixed, and Pensova plans around it.
What if I move one of its blocks myself?
Your change wins. Drag one of its blocks to a better time, in Pensova or in your calendar, and Pensova keeps it there. Delete one in Google Calendar or Outlook and Pensova shows that task as not on your calendar yet.
Does it work with Outlook or Microsoft 365?
Yes. Press Continue with Microsoft and Pensova reads your Outlook calendars, personal or Microsoft 365, with the same rules as Google Calendar. Some employers require an IT admin to approve apps first; Microsoft's screen says so if yours does.
Does it read my email?
No. There is no mail permission. Notes reach Pensova only when you paste them in, or when you forward a notes email to your private Pensova address. A forwarded email is read once, turned into tasks for you to check, and then discarded.
Is it ready?
Pensova is used on real calendars every day. The product is young: you will find rough edges, and we want to hear about them.

Add your to-do list and see where each task lands.
